Writing: Are Aliens Real?
Are Aliens Real?:
I think they don’t exist because they are very fake. Some people think they are real but from my point of view they are not. I think that they are fake because we would have seen more of the aliens.I think that they are effects that people think are funny but they're really not. I would love to see one more than I would maybe believe that they are real but for now I don’t. I reckon that aliens are very nice; they just don’t understand what we are saying and how they speak to us we don’t know either. In 2040, Americans plan to vote in a U.S. presidential election. Japan Promises to Stop Using Nuclear power. Britain’s Prince George will turn the ripe age of 27. And, as the interactive above demonstrates, the world is likely to find alien life. It could happen even sooner, depending how many civilizations are out there to be found. To understand why this is, it helps to know about someone named Frank Drake. It was in 1961, when he was working at the National Radio Astronomy Observatory in Green Bank, W. Va., that Drake developed the eponymous—and now famous—Drake Equation, which calculates how many advanced and detectable civilizations there should be in the Milky Way in any one year. The number turns out to be potentially huge, and while it’s admittedly based on a number of Earth-centric suppositions—the collapse of any one of which calls much of the equation into question—all of those suppositions are based in increasingly solid science.

Yr 8 Camp Reflections:
Yr 8 Camp Reflections:
Last week on Wednesday all of the Yr 8’s went on camp to 304 Kauaeranga Valley Road. It took an hour to get there but it felt like a day because it was hot in the bus. We travelled past the paddocks with animals. We played some games and also sang some songs. I enjoyed the bus ride because some of us were telling scary stories when we closed the curtains and it was dark. We finally got there and we unpacked the bags and gear out of the bus and got settled in our cabins. It was fun finding out who was in your cabin or what cabin you were in. There were four groups, one was called Coormadale, Thames, Kauaeranga, And Kauri. We had afternoon tea and cleaned up our mess then we had our first rotation. My group Cooramadle Went arching my group and I was okay. We all participated in every activity and supported each other. We had some things to eat, had some free time and then we got to have our showers. That was my favourite part of the day. We ate dinner and had some more free time and added preys and a movie. The movie was called Coco. It was a cool and interesting movie. Some of us couldn't go to bed and some we talked quietly. Day 2 came and I enjoyed it even more.

My Holidays!!!``
On the first week of the holidays I started packing for my youth camp. We went to a forest in pukekohe and a campsite as well. I got picked up by my youth teachers and we started making our way to the campsite. On our first day there we explored the place, the forest was the fun part and there were arrows pointing to the places where they went. There was a Bush chapel, a waterfall, And more places to go we explored the waterfall first it was amazing and we went in the water and started playing around. We went back to the campsite and had our devotions and started finishing off your books. We had lunch and started to unpack our stuff in our cabins. It was a really good experience. When I came back from camp I went swimming with my family and we went to the west wave. It was really fun. Then we had a family dinner and went to bed. That was my holiday. I love my family.

Immersion Assembly!!!
This morning we went into the hall and had our very own immersion assembly. It was fun. Team 1 item was a movie they are learning about the sun and where it goes when it’s going down. Team 2 did a story bots theme of the planets and how they work so that’s what they're learning about. Team 3 did an item on the stage and it was about the story rona so they are gonna be learning about navigating their way around everywhere. Team 4 did a movie and it was about Guardians of the galaxy it was the most funny one even though Mr Goodwin wasn't in it but it was still cool. That one was my favourite movie and also item and it was the best out of all of them from my point of view. Team 5 did an item on the stage as well and they were travelling around the planets all of the planets even Jupiter mercury and Uranus it was really creative.

ANZAC Tasks
Today this morning me and my class room started working on some ANZAC tasks it was fun I learnt heaps of things like what day it was when it started and what kind of cookies they made on the day as well. We had to watch the video and read the book and some instructions to start it. My favourite one was the vocabulary because I love to learn what the meanings are and also I love to writing about the meaning.

Writing: How To Be A Good Leader
Introduction: What is a leader: An leader is someone who sets an example for others and has high expectations. Who share their ideas, listen, help others while supporting.
Topic sentence: One way to be a good leader is to support others by being helpful when they need it or when they are stuck on something. Supporting others is a good thing because they might help someone else some other time.
Topic sentence: Another way we can be a good leader is by sharing our ideas with each other. When we share our ideas with your group they would start coming out their uncombable side and start sharing. Once we hear we would know what we can help them with.
Topic sentence: A third way to be a really good leader is to listen because if you don’t listen to your team that won’t be the leader. A team lisens that's one of the first things to do when you're in a group. Listen and you would go really far.
Conclusion: Being a good leader is to have these 3 qualities supporting others listening and sharing ideas with each other. Without those you wouldn't know what a team really is and without talking back having a positive vibe.
